About us

Wag in Wheels is a fully insured mobile, one-to-one professional dog grooming service. All work is carried out on board, at a time and place that is convenient for you and your dog.

As a one-to-one mobile dog groomer, your dog is given our undivided attention. With no more than one dog on board at a time (exceptions made from the same household), we provide a stress-free experience, at your home or place of work.

Parking up at your home means no more stressful car journeys to a salon. Cages and drying cabinets are also not used on our van, meaning your dog is never waiting around. At Wag in Wheels, we know how important it is to build a relationship with your dog, to gain their confidence and trust, when being groomed. We will always work at your dog's pace, to ensure they are comfortable with every step. We want them to associate being groomed as a positive experience. Depending on the dog and their needs, this could take a couple of sessions, but some can take a little longer.

Our Van

Inside our fully equipped van is a hydrobath, with raised table for small dogs and a front opening door for larger breeds. The hydraulic table caters for all sizes, as it lowers and raises for each individual dog. Housing a variety of hand dryers also enables us to accommodate your dogs needs. Whilst in our care, your dog will be safely secured inside the van with our dog gate. In the summer months, this also enables us to have the doors open, to keep the van cool.

The van has its own water tank and will require a hook up to your electricity supply.
Please note: we cannot plug into an extension lead, as this will trip the electricity within your property.

A legal flat parking space, of 3 car lengths, is required when parked up to groom your dog. Ideally, we need to be parked as close to the electricity supply as possible to prevent trailing cable. If there are any problems for parking (e.g. restrictions or steep drives), please let us know and we will discuss an alternative way to groom your dog.

If we are unable to park on arrival, and therefore cannot carry out the service, you will incur a fee of 50% of the booking.
