Cancellation Policy
As we are mobile and deliver a one to one service, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellation of your appointment. Any late cancellations will incur a 50% fee of your usual groom before any further appointments can be made.
Dematting Policy
Normal grooming prices do not include dematting. An additional charge for extra grooming time will be required to dematt your dog. We do not recommend the dematting of elderly, infirm or aggressive dogs.
Toileting
Please make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming.
Appointments
If you wish for your dog to have a regular 4/6/8 week appointment, this needs to be booked at the end of each session to avoid disappointment.
Vaccinations
All dogs are required to be up to date with vaccinations.
Microchipping
As of 6th April 2016, your dog is required by law to be microchipped.
Aggressive Behaviours
Aggressive dogs may not get their groom finished if they show extreme aggression, proving a risk to itself or staff. However, you will be required to pay for the grooming time up to that point. Wag in Wheels reserve the right to refuse to groom aggressive dogs or those with behavioural problems.
Photos
Wag in Wheels will photograph your dog before and after its groom and may use these photos on their website and social media, unless you request us not to.
Fleas
If your dog comes to us with fleas then it will be treated and you will incur a £15 fee.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your dog's groom, you need to file a complaint before we leave or within the first 24 hours and we will deal with this accordingly.
Payment
We accept cash or bank transfer. Payment via bank transfer must be sent on the same day of your dog's groom.
Pregnancy in dogs
Wag in Wheels refuses to groom pregnant bitches. They will not be groomed from the first day of mating, until the puppies are fully weaned.
Dogs in season
We will not groom bitches at the start of their season, as they can have a changed temperament. It can also affect the behaviour of male dogs on the van, particularly towards the groomer, following your appointment. We will be happy to groom them towards the end of their season. Please call us if you need any further guidance.
